Similarly i had a set of ocs that were genderbent versions of some fnaf animatronics but that was in 2014/2015 and i never carried them over to a more original. I think the main reason why ocs are hated is the same reason why a lot of things on the internet were/are hated (things like undertale, fnaf, fortnite, minecraft, etc. ).
